How can i uninstall BitDefender from my Mac?


As i try from bitdefender.dmg install/uninstall program with no success...


I would be very grateful if technical support help me asap as in 5 days my registration finish.

OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion


BitDefender Antivirus for Mac [ registered User in version 2.30 (2.30.5075) ]

    Its easier to find a :ph34r: (ninja) or speak with Chuck Norris or Putin than with bitdefender support....


    Now waiting for end of days..... maybe then will find the answer to this difficult question "HOW CAN I UNINSTALL BITDEFENDER ANTIVIRUS FROM MAC OS X MOUNTAIN LION"


    I love you Bitdefender antivirus :wub: I will buy you again.... for my Mac Computer.....

    As you can realize, there is no efficient (or at all) real support here.


    Have you ever try to contact to BD Support via other channels (e.g. chat)?

    Thank you for your reply! I really appreciate your help.


    But i wondering that, almost after 6 days and 123+ views for this thread somebody answer and this after my little bit (black humor) post!


    I will try to contact other channels of support as you say.


    Also wondering that if you go to the www.bitdefender.com and with the pointer go to the upper bar buttons, in section SUPPORT, you can find ONLY this forum as an option for SUPPORT!

    Christian - please send me uninstall information if possible. I tried the uninstall application from the software download and it is not working. I get a successful "install" message - but the software still automatically runs on startup. I am using OSX


    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    I used CleanApp and it worked fine. Didn't try the uninstall function, so don't have anything to say about it. The CleanApp has worked fine for me every time I have used it.
