(Some) Scheduled Tasks Stop Running
I noticed a few days ago that the problem with the scheduler being an hour off appears to have been fixed again. It must have occurred with a recent program update since the update which created the 247 build.
The problem I seem to run into now is that tasks in the scheduler will work fine for a while, then some tasks will inexplicably just stop running. For instance, I set up a test earlier today to scan a specific small folder every 15 minutes. It ran fine 5 times, then just stopped running after that. My nightly "Quick System Scan", which was set up when I installed BD, also randomly stops running for no reason, even though it is set properly in the scheduler.
I've been trying to analyze tasks.xml and tasks_system.xml to try to determine if certain values are failing to get updated. If anyone knows what the values of the fields status, sub_type, and type in the XML document represent, perhaps it would help pinpoint why the tasks occaisonally stop running though they are set to run on a regular basis in the scheduler.
Thank you.

I reinstalled BD AV10 (b247) on both my machines last night to see if it made any difference. (I first uninstalled using the BitDefender Uninstall Tool.) I scheuled two task to run on each machine. On one, both tasks ran. On the other, only one of the two ran. So, it doesn't appear that reinstalling solves any problems here.
The schedules are stored n tasks.xml and tasks_system.xml and are based on the number of seconds which have elapsed since 1/1/70.
Is there anyway to force BD to read these control files more frequently so that the scheduler initiates tasks at the scheduled times?
Thanks.

Hate to bump my own post but was wondering if anyone from BD support had an answer as to whether BitDefender can be tweaked to read these XML control files more frequently. Thanks.0
