I don't think there is even one malware on windows phone 8, so no need(yet) for an AV product on that platform.

But what about internet security options in general, never mind for viruses/malware. Most parents want a secure app to monitor internet usage on mobiles (if we could add a bitdefender app to Kid's corner on windows phones that would be great). Especially now that windows phones are starting to gain momentum. AVG have a free app already - come on bitdefender get working on this!0 -
Don't even worry about it. Chances are very slim based on my experience. Maybe just around .01%.

dwaynnyt is right. Chances are very low and do not need to worry more about it.

I concur with dwaynnyt. The chances of a release are pretty slim. But they should launch one because viruses from internet are a menace to Nokia users as well.

I am a BD-client and also have a windows phone for years now. Although it looks safe to you, when i recently transfered photos - send by someone else with WhatsApp - from my phone to my computer, a few photos where removed because Bitdefender on Windows 8.1 desktop pc found a virus. So, it is not safe enough.
I hereby like to sincerely ask Bitdefender to apply Apps for Windows Phone users as well.0
