It's bitdefender. And you won't get an answer from them. Sorry.

I've had this problem for months and did everything I could to fix it. I would get a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error when starting the BD install...every...single...time.

I changed to Norton Internet Security and the issue never appeared again. Today, I went back and uninstalled NIS (complete with the Norton uninstall tool as well) and tried to reinstall BD...guess what? CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

I've tried using the BD Uninstall tool in case some junk was left behind by its previous BSODS...doesn't fix the issue.

Here was my posts in the Asus forums as this started with a fresh build and I though the components were to blame: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?3...ATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

Oh well...I contact support but they were of no help...maybe because I purchased a lifetime license so there's no money left to get out of me? Dunno.

    I'd suggest switching products.

Seems like we have a similar setup:

    ASUS Maximus VI Hero

    4770k

    Samsung 840 EVO 1 tb

    780 Ti

    16 gb DDR3
