Uninstall Of Bitdefender Does Not Remove Bitdefender Wallet Addon For Internet Explorer 11

Hi,

Having had many issues with Bitdefenders scan since recent updates (Full Scan will stop on a random file and not progress any further, today it was stuck at 99% scan and never finished), I attempted to uninstall Bitdefender, everything was removed apart from the Bitdefender Wallet in Internet Explorer 11, can anyone tell me how to remove this? It was removed ok from Firefox.

I must add that its left behind the 64bit Bitdefender Wallet and removed the 32-bit version, how can I remove it from Internet Explorer, I think the actual app has been removed as the bitdefender folder left behind is empty, it just still lists it in IE.

You may need to remove it separately. On you IE, go to tools, then manage Addons. Try to remove it from there.

You can disable but not remove via the IE Manage Addons

To resolve this, download AutoRuns from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902 and save it to your Desktop. Unzip the file, run autoruns.exe, wait while it populates the entries. Locate the Wallet entry, right click on it and choose Delete. Exit Autoruns and reboot Windows when done.
