Web Server And Creating Firewall Rules

Hi,

I am teaching my self to be a web dev. and I have been using apache webserver on linux and created a firewall rule using ufw so that it allows TCP trafic from a specific IP address.

First problem:

Running IIS on windows 8.1.(actually this is not the problem :))

Bitdefender blocks all HTTP traffic from an outside source to port 80. I confirmed this by disabling the BD firewall and I was able to access my site from my mobiles G3 connection. once I enable db firwall I cannot access it.

the only solution I can see is to either set the wireless adapter to "trusted" or turn off the firewall. both seem heavy handed.

second problem:

I like to test my site from work. So I only really want to allow http/tcp traffic from 1 ip address. This seemed relatively easy in linux. but I cannot do this on my router without hacking it. and I cannot seem to do this on with BD2015. at least not that I can see.

Any ideas?
