Unable To Use Website's Upgrade Offer.

I was going to purchase Antivirus Plus 2015, at £39.95 for use on up to 3 PCs / 1 year.

Pressing the "Buy Now" button opened up another screen which immediately opened up a pop-up offering an upgrade to Internet Security 2015, at £44.94 (instead of £49.95), also for use on up to 3 PCs / 1 year.

Pressing the "Yes, Upgrade" button opened up the Shopping Cart screen. The cart contained Antivirus Plus 2015 (not Internet Security) for use on only 1 PC for 2 years at a price of £39.94.

The only choices then were the "Billing & Payment Info [sic]" button or a "Back to site" arrow.

It looks to me as if the web site is in a mess.

The company's "Help" doesn't address this sort of problem

How does one get the upgrade?

I have screenshots of the three relevant screens but I am not prepared to undertake the palaver of loading them to another web site, so I have tried to present them as attachments.

That is the route I originally tried.

If you take a look at it yourself, you will see that it requires a licence key. And if you read my first post again it should be clear that my attempts to buy were frustrated by the web site - so I don't have a licence key.

  • That's long enough to have waited ...

So, nobody knows the answer or nobody is prepared to give the answer. (There can be no other reason.)

Ok. I'll go and spend my money with a competitor.

  • Hello syncopator,

When you fill the form, if you choose "Buy" in the second box you are not required to fill in a license key. If it doesn't say "buy" it will be something similar, my form is in Spanish.
