[solved] Bitdefender Breaks Steam Overlay In Payday 2
This is a "recent" issue, it's not clear if it's the latest game version or the AV version but they are conflicting somehow and steam overlay is not working in this specific game.

I would also like to add that it doesn't work for other games as well; therefore BitDefender breaks Steam. It has been over a month and it hasn't been fixed. Even Steam's support page has BitDefender listed on their compatibility issue https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article...=9828-SFLZ-9289 .0

Agreed. Shift-Tab doesn't work in any of my games unless I remove Bitdefender. They block the community features entirely, preventing in-app purchases from working as well.0 -
Hey, just chiming in. I have Bitdefender Total Security 2015, and a friend of mine has Bitdefender for Windows 8, same issues as everybody else. Some games it works, some it doesn't. Red Orchestra 2 it doesn't, but War Thunder it does. My friend reports that Skyrim doesn't work for him as well, nor does Resident Evil 4.

The issue was recently fixed via Bitdefender signature updates (no build change). Please update Bitdefender, then restart Windows and test to see if the situation is resolved.0
