Hi, I've managed to get the pst file back.
Second time this year the clients pst file is quarinteened - Can BitDefender not delete the virus inside the pst file? What must I do to prevent the deletion of pst files. Yes there was an email infection, but obviuosly BitDefender is NOT comaptable with outlook. Many other AV software just removes the virus from the pst file...please explain

This situation can be avoided in the future if you manually remove the email from the inbox first. Please refer to this article:

In addition to this, you can also set the Outlook pst directory to exception list so BD will skip that every time it scans.
