Why 2 licence keys?
I recently purchased a 2-year, 2 installations copy of BitDefender Internet Security. I was sent one licence key via email which works on both my main PC and my laptop, including getting regular updates on both machines.
However, I just logged on to my BitDefender online account and I see there are 2 licence keys there (the one I was sent by email plus a another one I had not seen before). Am I to assume that I should be using two different licence keys for the two installations, even though the same licence key on both seems to be working just fine?
Thanks
Phillip

One of your serial keys that you have in your "My Account" is the key from the first installation. That key is an universal key for the 30 day trial version.
Just ignore it.0 -
Hi pip2
That is mostly the case when you used a trial in the past. And then bought a licence. Normally when you bought a 2 year,2 pc or laptop licence you will see only 1 key which must be the same. Take a look here:

Thank you both. I forgot to mention I did originally install the product as a trial. Since posting above, I then realised one of those keys in my account may be for the trial version only. However, I do think it would help if the account information in "My Account" made it clear that one of the licence keys was only for the trial installation. Then this query would have been unnecessary.
Thank you both again.
