Uninstallation Of Bd Led To Disconnect From Wifi
After talking with BitDefender tech support, I was advised to uninstall BitDefender. I did so, using an uninstall tool that they sent to me. Immediately after, I restarted my computer and found that I was no longer able to connect to the internet. My computer tells me that "No wireless networks were found in range" and that "Network hardware is disconnected". Nothing has changed on my computer other than the BitDefender uninstall, and my roommate's computer is having no trouble with the wireless network.
I have been on LiveChat with BitDefender tech support many times and they have been lovely and attentive, but I still do not have a solution.
Thoughts? Advice?
Thanks.

Hello there,
I was wondering if the uninstallation has removed the network card since bitdefender monitors the various ports on your computer, have you checked your device manager for a yellow trianle with an exclamation mark in it?
To do this:
Start-Control Panel-Device Manager
If you do find a yellow triangle-probably in the network port section, restarting in safe mode and double clicking the uninstalled hardware usually sorts it out!
Good Luck,

Hey Blinghound,
Thanks for the response. Your hunch was right about there being exclamation marks in my device manager when this problem first appeared, but I removed them last week with the help of BitDefender tech support. And still no wifi.
Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.0
