[Antispam] - 110, 25 Ports Only?

As far as I understand, the antispam module is redundant when my mail client uses ports other than 110 and 25 and it can be disabled?

    I use Thunderbird as my main email client, though if Microsoft could ever get their Windows 10 Mail app working correctly I would switch to it as my main email client

    Anyway my ISP does not use ports 110 and 25 for either incoming or outgoing email and I have found the Bitdefender anti-spam module pretty useless. Having said that I don't what would happen if I turned off the Thunderbird anti-spam (Junk mail) feature. No plans to do so since I am pretty satisfied with how it works..
