"safety At Risk" - "maintain Firewall Enabled" - Autopilot Is On?

I got the messages "your safety was at risk" and "maintain firewall enabled" on my weekly security report.

Autopilot is on so I expect it to take care of this, or at least give me detailed log entries so I can take care of it.

My firewall settings seem to be correct (see the attached screen prints).

I never turn off the firewall. Is that something Autopilot would allow?

Why are there no log entries about this issue?

What can I do to prevent this?

This is not the first time I have gotten these messages.

I have Total Security 2016.

  • Hello,

Firstly thank you for your feedback regarding the Security Report, I have forwarded to the proper department.

Please let me know if you had the product inactive during the Security Reports registered time ? Is Bitdefender the only security solution on that machine? What operating system are you running on that machine ? What build of Bitdefender are you running ?

  • Sorin, thanks for your reply. I apologize for taking so long to get back to you.

I believe the product was active during the entire timespan covered by the report. I never deactivate the product but I do sometimes switch Auto-Pilot off or on

I run MalwareBytes Anti Exploit at startup. I also occasionally run MalwareBytes Anti Rootkit, but I don't think I ran it during the report period.

My OS Is Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1.

The build number for Total Security 2016 is 20.0.29.1517

Please let me know if I can provide any further information.

I promise I will respond quickly next time!
