Ok well...

So far I have to say this product is not that great. I have had so many troubles with it on our home network withit.

issue 1

Anyway the latest problem

On two windows vista 64 bit computers

I get now on start up

Bitdefender scanner failed to load

I see that the antivirus threat scanner is no longer running

I go to Services and see that its now a stopped service and its set to manual. When I try to set it to Automatic I get access denied.

Rebooting does not address the problem.

Issue 2

Also your firewall

If I turn it to game mode and and forget to set it back the software does not alert me that basically the bloody firewall is disabled.

Issue 3

On one of my XP machines Bitdefender decided it would no longer update and it totally disabled itself. I had to reinstall it, when I reinstalled it Windows XP driver signing warned me that every single driver was unsigned.

is this what one can expect when using bitdefender products ? Seriously this product is in early alpha state at best and needs serious work. As it is I have 3 more machines I need protection for and as it is I just may be dumping bit defender for another product. I usually refrain from stating such things on a forum like this but I am an IT professional and the performance of Bitdefender has been seriously disappointing.
