do i need any thing else to stop the bugs

changed from avast free antivirus (fell out of love with it )to Bitdefender Free edition do i need to be using any other programs to stop infection from the masses/malware /trojans etc or should i be doing something different ??

Most likely not. BD seems to be extremely capable.
As a side note, I used in the last 10 years all king of anti-viruses (even Microsoft built in) and never got an infection , regardless which antivirus I used.0 -
