Bitdefender doesn't update windows

It's a shame when I try to install windows updates using Bitdefender, it doesn't work. I usually have to go into Windows/Settings/Update & Security & update it in there. The old 'Elevation Helper' ain't a lot of help I'm afraid. Just wondering if anyone else agrees?
