How can I turn off Bitdefender free VPN on my iPad?

When I turn off VPN via settings, it turns right back on. I want to turn VPN off because it may be making it difficult to load some links.

    Can you tell me where you found the VPN settings, please, so that I can try and turn mine off? Thanks.

    On my iPad, one of the first settings listed is VPN. When I turn it off, it goes back to ON in a few seconds. Under Settings/General there is another place to turn off VPN. After turning VPN off, it goes back on again in a few seconds. Uninstalling Bitdefender from my iPad was successful at turning VPN off.

    I'm disappointed that no one from Bitdefender has answered.
