Public network
I looked in Network and sharing center and see I have a Public Network that says it's enabled. I saw a reference to Bitdefender creates a public network.
Would this be the that?

I found the answer to my question. As to your answer yes, 4. Let the Adjusts product settings to boost protection when connected to an unsafe public Wi-Fi network checkbox enabled. is checked.
As to whether the hidden network was created by Bitdefender:
I'm just wondering if one of these is the "Hidden Network" showing in my Available networks and how safe it is?

Hi,
Those are the firewall settings for different types of networks. Domain, Private and Public networks are always visible there. It's simply how Windows tells you the firewall is active for every type of network you might connect to. Bitdefender does not create a network, it simply changes it's Firewall profile to Public network, whenever you are connected to one.
Cheers.
