Anti-Theft location
Hello, I have installed Bitdefender on two Android devices what using my kids. When I go to Bitdefender central and click Locate mobile often I don't get a location. I have have filling only get location when my kid takes mobile and enter it, something like, when the screen is power off I can't get location?

Please follow the steps below:
1. Open the phone settings
- Select Security
- Choose Device Administrators
- Enable Bitdefender
- Check if the situation persists
2. Open the phone settings
- Select Security
- Choose Apps with usage access
- Enable Bitdefender
- Check if the situation persists
3. Open the phone settings
- Select Accessibility
- Tap on Antivirus
- Check the option so it is On
- Check if the situation persists
4. Open Phone Settings
- Press on the Battery menu
- Press on options
- Select Battery Optimization
- Choose all apps
- Select Bitdefender and check the "Don't optimize" option
- Press done and see if the situation persists after turning the Web Protection on

I don't think the anti theft locate feature is a valid tool anymore. Changes made by google have restricted third parties from doing this in real time, I think keeping this feature is a little misleading. You "may" get a location back hours after requesting it from the tool and then I doubt it is from the command being sent to it more like a random update. It used to be in real time, not anymore.

I have tried everything and stil the anti theft features are not working. It is a pity because this is one of the main reasons I purchased Bitdefender.
The things that don't work:
1.Locate device: it takes hours and sometimes days to locate a device, although the device will be next to me and I would just be testing the feature, and also in real situations.
2. All other remote actions feature are not working
I am using Android Devices

just for the record, it is really not working as it should... well, it used to work a few days earlier without any problems... now, even the Alert (Scream) mode is not working at all... i'll post a thread about that tomorrow...

For 3 days now it can't locate any of the 4 android devices we use in the family.Everything is turned on but nothing happens.The last detection was 3 days ago since then nothing.Please fix it...it's basic function for parents!

Agree with the above posts. My phone cannot be found, and the alert mode is not working, either.

I checked the anti theft feature as of now and it seems currently it is not working at all.
@Mike_BD - can you please get it checked with the developers.
