Kindly perform below steps & see if this helps you in anyway.
1) Uninstall the bitdefender product with add/ remove programs option in windows
2) To remove the remaining files download and run Bitdefender product uninstaller (https://www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/Bitdefender_2022_Uninstall_Tool.exe)

4) As soon as desktop opens, assuming your windows drive is C, open below things in run (windows icon + R) command one by one :

Hello.
First, log out from your Bitdefender Central account.
Next, on the Windows device with Bitdefender installed, open the Bitdefender program and do this:
In the next dialog boxes enter your e-mail and password that you used for your Bitdefender account and subscription and click on "Sign in".
You are done.
Wait a few seconds and sign in back to your Bitdefender Central account.
Now, in Bitdefender Central, you will have displayed the correct number of protected devices with the correct Bitdefender product installed on each device and you will not get any "At Risk" messages.
If that didn't help, try uninstall/reinstall the Bitdefender product on Windows, by using the Uninstall Tool:
Finally, if that also didn't help, you should contact Bitdefender Consumer Support:
because ONLY THEY can have access to your Bitdefender Central account.
@Alexandru_BD and @Mike_BD Please, take a look here.

@OakSafe check the Windows Security settings, I'm not sure exactly how it looks on Windows 7 now, but it should display something like this:
Your Antivirus Plus can cover one device, however, I cannot see it active. Is the device currently offline?
If you are referring to the red x displayed in the Online Threat Prevention module, this is part of the design:
Click on settings and make sure all its features are enabled.

Windows security says "BD AV reports it is up to date and virus scanning is on"
I didn't know that red x you circled in green was part of the design, thought it meant a problem!🤔
i contacted support theysaid to remove my device in central and log out of GUI and log back in. But when i click my name then Switch Account the switch account does not click or open a screen to log in. Support said i need to reinstall to fix that. i might try reboot first
Thanks for your help🙂

Hi @OakSafe,
Thank you for following up. Reinstalling the product should normally fix this glitch. We also have a dedicated article for such scenarios here:
https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/13429/
I think you are right regarding the Online Threat Prevention icon. I have also noticed that it may create confusion among users, as the red x might suggest an inactive status. I have forwarded this feedback to our UI teams to analyze and see how we can improve it in the near future.
Please do keep us updated on the outcome of your inquiry, I hope the situation is resolved swiftly.

Thank you for forwarding the suggestion to change the red X on the Online Threat Prevention panel. You're right, it can be a bit confusing as I even did a double take the first time I saw it.
