BEST replacement for Symantec.cloud
Greetings, we are having trouble getting BEST installed on an older Server2012R2 machine. It "used" to have Symantec Cloud services and SEP installed, those have been removed and even obliterated with the cleanup tool as well. BEST will begin to install but complains Symantec.cloud is installed, it says to click continue to remove it but upon said action it then errors out saying "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed". I'm at a standstill here and cant move forward. We have rebooted between attempts and have run the cleanwipe utility a couple times to no avail.
Open to ideas from the community to move beyond this hurdle.
And here is a screenshot of the issue:

Hi @linuxknight,
Try to install without 'Remove competitors' being enabed and let us know how it goes:

Is that a command line argument? Ill try and find documentation on it. I have a deployment package executable I can run on the asset.

Hello @linuxknight,
The "remove competitor" option is a check box that is either checked or unchecked before the package is created to be installed.
Do let me know if the situation still persists.

I was able to locate that option when you had originally responded last month, thank you @Alex_Dr
