Ad-blocking capabilities
An adblocking capability in Bitdefender's products would be a welcome added feature. By having this feature means no more ads on desktop / laptop or mobile devices. Besides that, having an adblocking functionality built-in, means you don't have to be connected to Bitdefender VPN all the time or having to install an adblocker (extension) on all of your devices.

Hello @Giryoku and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
I am delighted to receive your valuable feedback and I will make sure to pass it to our researchers for analysis in the next development sprint. To be able to block future ads, we usually recommend to install Adblock Plus or uBlock Origin for your browser.
• Adblock Plus for Mozilla Firefox / uBlock Origin for Mozilla Firefox
• Adblock Plus for Google Chrome / uBlock Origin for Google Chrome
• Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer

Personally, I don't recommend to keep the VPN enabled all the time, as this could slow your connection, depending on the server distance and can also drain your device’s battery faster. You can find more information on this topic in the article below:

Hello @Alexandru_BD , thank you for your response and for passing it on to the researchers. I appreciate it for responding to my ideas. It would especially be nice if such capability would be integrated in de web protection feature.
However, great to be part of the community!

Hello @Giryoku,
After reviewing your suggestion, the developers have reached the conclusion that add blocking capabilities cannot be implemented outside the VPN context.
Although this idea will not move forward into production, your contributions and suggestions are always welcome and please feel free to share with us any other suggestions that come to mind in the future.
Best regards

To be honest, adblock plus does a pretty good job already, I'd rather have them focus on improving more necessary products
