Kindly contact Bitdefender support by visiting https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/.
Depending on your selected product and the type of issue you're facing, you can reach a support representative via email, chat, or phone.
If you choose email support, you will receive a ticket number in your registered email. Kindly generate and attach the following logs to the ticket:
Generate Bitdefender BDsysLog: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1922/
Generate Bitdefender Support Tool Log: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1733/
Generate Bitdefender Connectivity Log: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/9689/
If the generated logs are larger than 25 MB, which is the attachment limit for most email vendors, you can upload the logs to https://upload.bitdefender.net/ and share the link with the support team.

Hello @MTW and thanks for following up.
Kindly let us know what the Support representatives advise. Your findings could prove useful for other members that may encounter this in the future.
Generally speaking, whenever a Bitdefender process crashes the user will receive a notification error from Bitdefender crash handler with some details about the crash. The most important are:
- Bitdefender Security Service has crashed --> this is a VSSERV crash
- Bitdefender Security Center has crashed --> this is a SECCENTER crash
- Bitdefender Agent has crashed --> this is a BDAGENT crash
- Most of the times, when a BSOD happens, a minidump is also created in the following location:
C:\Windows\Minidump. The Support teams would need the latest minidump file from this folder in order to check what caused the BSOD. But they will surely guide you through what must be done.
I hope the situation is resolved swiftly.

System Scan causes BSOD: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. I have contacted Bitdefender Support Center and was told that this was a known issue and they were working on a fix. It seems that System Scan causes a variety of BSODs.
