    Hello,

Some applications may run multiple instances of the same executable for different tasks or services. For instance, the Bitdefender VPN services use hydra.exe.

Bitdefender VPN delivers optimal performance and an expanded feature set on the Hydra Catapult protocol.

In order to optimize the available bandwidth and improve overall performance of the connection, it uses Parallel Connections which leads to multiple instances of the hydra.exe process being initiated.
