Can I, do I need to, update the Bitdefender database?
I've switched over to Bitdefender this week in the unpleasantness regarding Kaspersky. Most anti-malware programs I've had in the past required, or at least allowed, me to update the malware database with a mouse click or two. Is that a feature of Bitdefender? Thanks. Jimmy

Bitdefender frequently updates its signatures multiple times within a day. However, when it comes to product updates that involve changing the version number, they occur less frequently, typically once every 4 weeks.
Product updates are being released gradually and while it's not necessary to manually update the malware database, as this is being done automatically with Bitdefender, you can look for product updates manually as well.
