Host for Endpoint Security is using too much RAM on my system
Microsoft Server 2022 is running a Remote Desktop server with around 50 users connecting. Initially, Host for Endpoint Security starts with a memory usage of about 700-800 MB, but over time, it increases. Today, when I restarted the server, it had reached as high as 14 GB, and my server became very slow. What could be the cause of this, and is there any way to reduce this memory usage without having to restart the server?"

Hello @yozyurek ,
These type of issues need to be analyzed in more detailed together with our support team because we need to determine why there is an increase of the RAM consumption and what type of processes where running when you saw the increase in usage. For example was it a scan task in progress at that time? What type of activities are these 50 users doing on the server because depending on your security policy configuration if the policy is to aggressive it will generate multiple scan events based on the user actions or other application used.
What you can do is determine the module that is the root cause of the RAM increase by disabling the modules one by one as described in this article:
Secondly, you can collect a Process Monitor log and a Support Tool log as per
With this information reach out to our Enterprise Support Team and they will be able to identify the exact root cause.
