Sounds good. Thanks for letting us know. But how do I get the update? Google Play doesn't show that version as available. And opening the app on my phone doesn't prompt for an update.

My Bitdefender on Android updated automatically to that version, but I don't know exactly when.

I don't quite understand Alexandru_BD's version number. I just checked my app and it shows Version 3.3.251.2469 which is an even newer version?

Hi,
Yes, there's even a newer version available - 3.3.251.2469 was rolled out on October 9, so a few days after 3.3.248.2462. Do you still get that error message?

My wife & I haven't had the problem on our Pixel 5's since version 3.3.248.2462.
Thanks!
BTW, I wish the "What's New" description in the Google Play Store actually described what changed, rather than just repeating the same "An industry first" message over and over.

Same with me. I haven't seen it since and considering I was getting the error daily, I believe it has been resolved. Thanks

I still occasionally get this error while using version 3.3.251.2469 on a Pixel 7a running Android 14. I don't personally find the error to be bothersome, but if the programmers are curious to investigate why it is still happening, I would be happy to provide any additional information/logs that might be needed.

Cheers @ranger,
That's strange since this was actually fixed in a previous version. But should you have the time, you can get in touch with Bitdefender Support and have them check why you are still receiving this message occassionally. Here's the link to contact them:
State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.
They can investigate and provide further advice in this case. Let us know how it went.
