How to stop my subscription to Mobile Security and automatic renewal?

I have read many posts and also contacted the helpdesk with many mails but they don't seem to understand my problem. (I get a link to contact with 2Checkout, from whom I only get two old subscriptions).

I can't find where I can stop the automatic renewal of my subscription to Mobile Security. In fact I want to stop the subscription because I want to switch to Total Security.

My other subscriptions of Bitdefender had a button on which I could click to stop the automatic renewal, but with Mobile Security there is no button (as you can see in the screenshot I added.)

  • As I said, I contacted Bitdefender support several times via mail, but they couldn’t give me a satisfying answer, although they were very willing.

    Finally I got to know that my subscription to Bitdefender Mobile Security was not bought via Bitdefender, but via the Apple Store. I received a link to my subscriptions I bought there (https://support.apple.com/ ……number….) and then it was only two clicks to stop my subscription.

    So I am happy, but can’t understand why it took so many mails to understand why I couldn’t stop the subscription via Bitdefender itself. Hopefully I (will) have helped other people by posting this.

    That's true, if you’ve purchased Bitdefender Mobile Security through the App Store, then you must cancel the subscription from there, because in this case it is managed by Apple using their own subscription management flow.
    Bitdefender can of course assist with product-related inquiries and technical advice, however, the Support teams cannot issue a refund nor cancel a subscription that was purchased from another vendor (the same applies for licenses purchased from Bitdefender partners and resellers).
