Email Scanning With Bitdeffender Av 2008

I just upgraded my BD 08 for 09 and I have noticed that when I receive emails, I no longer see the pop-up that it's scanning my email. In this new version, is their suppost to be a pop up when email is scanned?

  I think I solved my own issue, it looks like my outlook 07 settings got changed to used SSL connection to my pop3 server. So I guess Bd can't scan mail if you are using a SSL connection.

  No, BitDefender can only scan for malware and spam mails that come through standard POP3/SMTP ports. Non-standard ports (like SSL) are not supported.
