Unable To Perform Virus Scan With Antivirus Plus V10

Hello,


I have experienced some major issues with my Bit Defender during the past two days…For the most part, I have solved the issues and repaired my current Bit Defender, but I cannot perform a scan. I receive the following error message:


“On-Demand scan tasks can not be run because your Bit Defender license key has expired”


My registration to BD AntiVirus Plus v10 is valid until 24.02.2009

system: XP SP2


repaired problem from yesterday: virus shield would not launch…attempted an upgrade to BD 2009, but that was very unstable on my system and the same error message appeared. I performed an uninstall and attempted a repair with AntiVirus Plus v10. All worked ok…up until this problem.


Firewall and Antispam seem to work fine.


Would appreciate an answer.

  • My mistake...problem solved! I simply needed to re-enter the appropriate key a second time and now the scanning works just fine... Sorry if I wasted anyone's time!
