Internet Antivirus Pro
Deat Friends,
i was out of town and my kinds downloaded some game and along came a maleware called internet antivirus pro its a fake antivirus and i am un able to install it please help ge get rid of it!
deep scan by bit defender also did not help I can do an thing on that computer!
any advice/help.
please treat it urgent!!

well since you have a ROGUE ( http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=1497 ) on your computer, wouldn't it be better to use smithfraudfix?
Oh well, just use combofix then0 -
it's a ROGUE ( http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=1497 ) , an FAKE-antivirus file.
They have a large Variant, just try to clean your PC good or that FAKE-AV will download alot of other New variants and your pc will be slow and you will get alot of popup.0 -
I have downloaded the siad software (from another computer) and placed it on the desk top of the infected computer. now i can reach upto the command promt but in the entire prosidure it does not mention how to launch the combofix from the comand prompt for vista!
any idea what nees to be done

Once the download is complete, run the install program, and accept all of the default options. Make sure that the options to Update and Launch the software is checked when you click Finish.
Now, let's make sure that it has all of the latest anti-spyware definitions: click on the Update tab and click the Check for Updates button.
After the updates have been loaded, click on the Scanner tab and choose the Perform Complete Scan option, then click the Scan button.
When the scan is complete, it will show you all of the potentially harmful files on your computer - click the button to remove them automatically.
Paste the scan log here.
