Pop Ups For Rules Not Showing

My bitdefender internet security 2008 was working well in the beginning. But lately the pop ups for creating rules are not showing. Tried with reinstall problem still exist. (I was using xp, then went to vista ultimate 32 bit). Any suggestions?

    You have few options: try uninstalling and reinstalling (I know but only owned it a month so far and reinstalled it three times to fix all of the issues), delete all of your rules and recreate them, try the internet security 2009 (:o , oh noes), or your last option is format and reinstalling your os (don't worry, it takes about the same amount of time reinstalling windows vista as it takes to bake a batch of cookies, spread some christmas cheer now <img class=" />).

    That’s the point! I know that the problem is in the settings or something, but uninstall and reinstall did not help. Thanks, I reinstall my vista, and now bitdefender is working! I still want to get to the bottom of this for future reference. Thanks for the advice!
