Bitdefender Internet Security Wizard Has Ended Prematurely
I just installed Visa HP x64 today, and everything was going fine, until I tried to install the x64 version of BD. It wouldn't let me. It will get to the end then roll back its actions near the end. It then says the wizard has ended prematurely.
System specs: Fresh vista x64 install
AMD 5000+CPU
Spybot S&D
edit- also tried with gamesafe x32, 2009 x64, and changing the download location from Program files x64 to program files x86 with no avail. HELP!!!

Look at the section: Uninstalling BitDefender using the uninstall tool.
Download the latest version from here (internet security 2009 x64- you can une your 2008 on 2009):

Now, disconnect from the internet. Run the tool to clean up any temp files or registy keys left by BitDefender.
Restart.
Install BitDefender Internet Security 2009 x64.
Restart.
Connect the internet. Update BitDefender.
