Lastfm Problem

I just tested the LastFM player on my side with the real time protection enabled(and scan yahoo messenger traffic on as well) and it worked fine. Do you have this issue only when accessing a certain song/certain station or is the issue related to opening up the player application itself?
Please tell me what built do you have for BitDefender and also what version of "httproxy.dll" is currently installed in this location:
C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 20090 -
The player of lastfm.com doesn't work with the real time protection of BDIS 2009,
This should be fixed...
edit: when the "scan yahoo messenger traffic" is disable it works fine... how strange...
I encountered similar issues with an RC prerelease of BD 2009 last year. Are you sure you are using the latest BD 2009 kit available?0 -
bitdfender buid 12.0.11.15
httproxy.dll : 12.0.0.27

I don't think so, but I turned the yahoo messenger traffic scan off and now it works fine....
The web player is a flash player but I don't think it requires an other plug-in...0 -
I can confirm the problem. I never knew why I can't listen to any previews on Last.fm, but now I know: HTTP scanner in BitDefender is somehow blocking it.
Basically, any one of the options below, if enabled, will block Last.fm from working correctly:
- scan HTTP traffic
- Scan Yahoo Messenger traffic (Scan Windows Live Messenger traffic doesn't affect Last.fm)
- Parental Control: Web filtering
- Parental Control: Heuristic web filtering (other modules from Parental Control don't affect Las.fm)
- Privacy Control: ****** Control
- Privacy Control: Cookie control
- Privacy Control: Identity Protection
Because all the above options have something to do with http-monitoring/filtering, my guess is that the problem lies somewhere in httproxy.dll
I know that in the past this module had problems with some flash objects, but I hoped they were fixed. Apparently not...
I'm having the same versions of BitDefender Total Security and httproxy.dll as raph. Also, all tests I've done were made on Firefox 3.0.7
