Disabling Antispam In Outlook Express Better?

I have BD 2009 and I use an alternative antispam product (spamfighter). It works just about 100% of the time and I prefer not to have BD antispam loaded. I have disabled antispam in BD by unchecking the box. However, it still wants to screw with Outlook Express somehow. It will sometimes load a blank toolbar and sometimes not. It also causes problems for spamfighter's toolbar. I have tried keeping it enabled and just setting the protection to permissive and unchecking all of the settings, but it still loads the toolbar in Outlook Express. The toolbar ###### up valuable screen real estate and I do not want it (or need it).

BBottom line: Can I do something further like not installing it at all?

I found a way to do this from another thread...

It seems that if you rename bdoe.dll to something other then a .dll, it will not load and be used. This DLL is the BD "O"outlook "E"xpress interface it seems. You need to go into safe mode to rename it.
