You Have Exited The Fullscreen Application

I get the following annoying message "You have exited the fullscreen application" followed by the name of a game in this instance, followed a question: "Do you want to add this to the games list?" followed by YES/NO boxes and a check box to "Stop detecting fullscreen applications". Why is BD2009 popping up this annoying box? I have Game Mode disabled (not enabled). I have answered the question with Yes and No and have checked the Do Not Ask Again box and not checked it as well. It does not matter how I answer this box because it frequently pops up with the same game and with non-games such as the browser Firefox and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. It does not always pop up, but very frequently. This annoyance by BD2009 seems to happen frequently. I used to see it rarely. What is BD2009 doing and why does it ignore my request to NOT ASK AGAIN? I might be on my last subscription ... BD is irritating, more than any other package. I used to recommend BD, but haven't for quite a while now.

  • Hello rft1020,

Please be so kind as to tell me since when have you been experiencing this issue - is it a recent one since version 12.0.12 or has it been occurring since you installed BitDefender 2009 on your system?

Also, could you tell us please on what operating system are you running BitDefender and in BitDefender - Advanced View - Game /Laptop mode you will have a button called "Manage Games" - click on it and tell me if you have any applications listed there.

    Thank you.

I am on Windows XP SP3. There are no applications listed under Manage Games. I am not sure for how long I have seeing these messages. I have seen them in the past, but rarely. Now sit seems quite often - at least for the past month or so. There is no consistency.
