[duplicate] Internet Explorer Conflict
I just read this thread and it is exactly what I'm encountering: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=17396
Anything that uses internet explorer and internet explorer itself does not connect to the internet. Everything else that uses internet works fine. I have done everything I could think of. I turned off firewall. I turned off antivirus. I disabled the phishing.

I got a similar problem.
I use Firefox 3.5.7 an IE. And BOTH have problems now.
Since the last update from BD Internet Security 2010 - Version 13.0.19 (yesterday)
When i open my internet and i'm on a page, it's fine. It takes long
But when i open a new tab, with a new website, it takes very long to open it.
And i can't scroll or click on a link on the website page, that was already opened.
I need to wait until the new Tab/webpage is fully opened, before everything works again.
Now i Disabled the AntiPhising Toolbar (version 2.0) and everything works again.
No problem anymore.
So the problem lies in the Bitdefender AntiPhising Toolbar.0 -
I too am getting the same problem. Both in Firefox 3.5.7 and IE 8.
For example if I access my router via LAN I have to wait 5 to 10 seconds for the login to appear. If I disbale the AntoPhising toolbar in the browser (or disbale Anitphising in BitDefender) the router login appears instantly. The problem shows as general delays in requests for any type of browsing. Typically the browser waits about 5 seonds (and it not responsive to other operations) and then the web page displays. All solved without AntiPhising.
