Total Security 2010 Won't Install
I have tried multiple times to install total security 2010 from a cd...every time after it asks me to restart, my computer crashes into a blue screen error. The error is "driver irql not less or equal" and my computer restarts. When i boot into safe mode, i can system restore to a point when before i installed total security and my computer works fine...however, with no anti-virus program. I am running a dell inspiron 580 with windows 7 home premium 64 bit. here's the link for the minidump file i retrieved in safe mode after the latest crash. I also sent an e-mail, but am posting here as well to see if anybody can help me...thank you

Mine is doing the same thing. I keep trying to install the updates but it will go to that blue screen and even before I can read all that it says it restarts the computer on me. Before when I tried again my computer wouldn't even start windows and would go to that trying to find a problem page [i don't remember what its called, sorry], and wont find a solution. I would re start again and my computer would keep going to that page. I had to take my computer to some tech guys and they reinstalled windows for me after waiping everything off. Now I'm afraid to try to update it in case I have to pay ANOTHER $60 CAD.
If anyone knows the solution to this problem then please tell me.0 -
