Bitdefender Antivirus 2010 Can't Update

I can't make my antivirus makes update, because it can't detect the internet connection, and last update was in 02/04/2010


so I hope to help me and give a solution.

    Hi Eng.W.Dabbas,


    What happened on your PC since 02/04/10?


    Is your subscription period still O.K ?


    Do you use a proxy to connect to internet?


    If you use a proxy both connections should be activated ( or deactivated) either for Bitdefender, IE, Firefox to rule the access to internet (with the proxy or without).


    If you do not use a proxy at all, the problem is somewhere else, of course.


    Are you able to use internet (IE, Firefox, Chrome or else) or not?


    Maybe you could give some more information on your system: XP Home? Pro? Vista? Seven? to get some help from someone who has better ideas than me. (if i have access for other soft to internet, I should launch BD's repair function if I think BD is the cause of the problem, one never knows...)

    Only one firewall


    Only one antivirus


    (maybe it could influence connections and the protection and the stability of the software as well)
