Problems Downloading Bit Defender Antivirus 2010

Hello I am new to this forum.

I am having trouble downloading bit defender anti virus on to my computer.

I have paid for it and got the e-mail where i get the link to download it.

Once i click on the link It downloads the set up

called "bitdefender_antivirus.exe"

when i click on this it tells me

"Setup was unable to find the package

'http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/desktop/antivirus/final/en/msi2010/msis'

Please download and install the program from the bit defender website/"

Then it asks me to scan using the online scanner which i have done.

I have also gone to the trouble and downloading the debugger from the website which was unsucccesful.

Please help me

Oh and I have downloaded the msiscan.exe but it doesn't really help.

Is there something I should do with it?

Please try to download and install THIS

Before trying to install make sure you have no files copied already. Check the Program Files folder for any traces of BitDefender. To stay on the safe side run THIS uninstall tool then restart the computer.

If you need the 64bits version of BitDefender Antivirus save then install THIS file.

I downloaded it and it doesn't help

I made sure no bit defender files were in program files

when i first clicked it it said it needed another file to open it

and now when i click it it simply says

C:\Users\*name*\Desktop\bitdefender_antivirus_2010_32b.exe is not a valid Win32

application

My computer is a 32 bit processor.
