Hi jokesarcade and Emile,
This precise issue happens with my computer (XP) when I open too many boxes on Firefox with demanding internet sites (full of javascript gimmicks and so on) while I've been using internet upload software more than 24h).
No, I did not receive an answer from BD's help, nobody took action. Probably it enters statistics to correct the future software...
Yes, I had to close the software's upload stream and shut down the internet line to recover Bd's red balls.
However, I do not bother too much because the issue does not happen too often.
If the problem often happens on your machine and very soon after the boot, I advise you to launch a repair/remove BD process.
Another manipulation that works on my XP machine, to deactivate softwares I seldom use, such as windows messenger that is not very friendly to BD.
I'm a skype's fan, so... windows live messenger is not my favourite.
BD's automatic updates could create the issue you talk about when I open some resources demanding soft at precisely the same time it updates. But the red balls come back a few minutes later. The solution could be to launch only manual updates or to use the boot's update only option, separated from one's surf...
Oh, please give details on your system ( put them once and for all in the "my controls" page), it could help BD support.
Good cleaning and repair...

Hello DanyDan,
Thanks for your answers.
Concerning BD2011 I'll wait ... untill less problems, I do not take these risks.
Have a nice day.0
