As always never install bitdefender new product when its first released. They tend to release "beta" versions of their product as "Final Version" then release mega updates along the way.

Bitdefender uses Insanely High Memory Usage. I tried reinstalling bitdefender and it still uses that same memory usage. Sometimes when updating or being idle Bitdefender uses up to 500mb.

Oh I found out why it was saying that. I contacted Bitdefender Support Team and I was using a "Promotional" key which is why it was saying Not For Resale. He said it does work the same regardless of the "Not For Resale" name or not.

I switched because of the widget to be honest I really don't like when I have to double click bitdefender in order to see any events.

That's exactly why I switch I loved the security widget that the W8 Security is missing and also the UI for 2014 is amazing.

Never tried the free version of Revo Uninstaller but i'm pretty sure it's a trial they give you 15 or 30 days of the Pro Version then ask you to pay for it.

Thanks when I uninstalled Bitdefender W8 Security I used "Revo Uninstaller Pro" and it sweeped everything that bitdefender lefted over.

The reason I don't use KIS because they have acquisitions that they work for the Russian Government. Which is why U.S. Government does no business with Kaspersky whatsoever. So I choose Bitdefender since their Headquarters are in Romania and that's apart of NATO. lol

I also just notice thats Bitdefender is deleting files without my permission and i have auto-pilot set off. Right now about to uninstall Bitdefender. EDIT: I have files that are in exclusions that Bitdefender receive to be a threat and those files are being deleted even though the exclusions is set on them.

Oh okay but for everyone else that wants to know this how I did it. INSTRUCTIONS: First I stop the update and turned auto-update off and I went and download the weekly.exe and installed at soon as it finish my bitdefender said something about "services not responding" so I just restarted my pc and it fixed the "services…

IDK i hope this doesnt be a 2008 Bitdefender repeat where Bitdefender deleted all files on ur pc because it thought it was a virus. In no way , shape , nor form that Bitdefender keeps releasing updates like this?

columbo I hope so but I had cancel my update bout to update it again and see does it still keep downloading? EDIT: I don't know if it's bitdefender servers or me? But I'm downloading bitdefender updates pretty slow? Is anyone else having that problem?

They show how many files that is updated but not the size but this seems like a request feature more than a problem?

Hello alexx69, I tried the Memtest86 and it passed complete with no errors? So idk what it could be but since I uninstalled Bitdefender their has not be any bluescreens.

@Christian It doesn't matter now. I uninstall Bitdefender TS 2013 and it runs smoother and faster. IDK if your referring that question to me but you can't "Run as administrator" on Windows Xp. I don't have any trouble now using Windows 7 except for the bluescreens.

I had this problem on OS: Windows Xp SP3 somehow even if you delete the Bitdefender it still runs?
