  • Hi alt1579 Did you try the link from this newer Pinned download page? http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=40792 Columbo Yep that's the thread. I don't mind a different language Thing is, it didn't fix the problem in my opening post.
  • I had the Dutch version, which never updated beyond 16.23.0.1637. With a download link in another thread, I've now installed the English (US) version 16.25.0.1710. This newer version also marks the Office Help updates as critical.
  • Looks like my version is falling behind more and more... I'm still on 16.23.0.1637 and it's not updating. Done repair, complete re-install, but it always goes back to 16.23.0.1637 and that's it. At least the virus patterns are being updated without probems.
  • May I please have an answer to my question! What does error code 87 mean?
  • Hello Please repair the current instance of your product: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35489 Thank you! Repairing did not work, it updated back to 16.23.1637 and the error message persists.
  • Thank you Christian, I will do that. However, my question still hasn't been answered. What does error code 87 mean?
  • PM with support tool logs sent. I still don't know what the error code means, can you also answer that? It would be very helpful if the Help file would contain a list of all error codes and meanings. Or at least the BD support site.
  • Since I'm not getting any more response on this thread, I have opened a ticket with BD support. Ticket nr. 201211181083214.
  • Christian, BD2013 has now been updated to 16.23.0.1637 and the pc has been rebooted. But I still get false reports of critical Windows Updates. Office help updates are hardly critical
  • Hello A product update was released. Your build should be 16.23.0.1637(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number). In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events…

  • Ha, funny stuff. How does that logo end up in the clipboard? BTW I tried this on BD IS, so its not only TS.
  • Fixed! Here is what I did wrong: When I turn on the mediaplayer, it is discovered by the firewall. Next, I allowed it access. Apparently when you do it this way, as soon as the device is turned off, the firewall cannot discover it anymore and drops the ip address from the list. What I did this time was: With the device…
  • Hello Daniel, Please find the screenshots attached to this message. I have made two screenshots. One shows the Network module when I have the Mediaplayer turned on, and the other one shows the same module when the Mediaplayer is switched off. Thank you for your assistance! Regards, Sander
  • What you can try to add the software as an exception into: ..... Hello Daniel, Thanks for your assistance. I'm afraid this will not work, because the Mediaplayer I'm talking about is not software. It's an actual device that connects to my home network. When I turn it on, my router gives it an ip address (which is always…
  • Hi Aurelian, Thank you for your reply. I have sent all the requested data to BD support (sysdump etc) a few days ago, I hope this gives enough information to help me find the cause why parental control does not seem to work on my system. Also, can you tell me which steps you followed to block the site? Thank you.
  • Can you check your licence again? As far as I know, the home user licence is good for 3 computers so you could install it on your home pc and your wife's laptop.
  • After waiting a few days hoping for a reply to this post, I have now opened a ticket with support in order to tackle the issue I have with Parental Control. If there are other users experiencing the same problem, please reply in this thread so I know you're out there and I can share whatever solution I get with you from…
  • I have been able to fix my problems with the interface not displaying correctly. The problem was a corruption in one or more DLL's that are used in conjuction with Javascript. I'm assuming that the interface used some of these same DLL's as well. I have attached a textfile with a listing of all the DLL's to unregister and…
  • I've purchased and installed Internet Security 2010 today, and I've noticed several issues. One issue is the program interface windows, I've already posted about that in another thread. • Thats no good. My xp computers with bd2010 are set at the normal 96% dpi. All buttons visible etc. Was your computer set at 96% or a higher dpi,, if not try that 96% setting. Jeff Thanks for your reply Jeff. Yes, my display setting was standard 96% dpi. Still is. Changing any of these settings has had no effect on the…

  • I've installed IS2010 about an hour ago, and I'm experiencing the same problem with windows not showing properly. I have tried the DPI settings tip, but this doesn't help at all. See this link for an example of what Bitdefender looks like on my system. I have WindowsXP with latest SP and fixes. Screen resolution is…
