Hi Jonny, can you try these steps and hopefully this get will get it done. It's for BD 2014 but I think the steps will be the same or close. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/i-canno...twork-1098.html

I think the default is every two days. But it will also scan your system when it's idle.
-
Hi. Can you also make sure that you have the latest updates installed already? What version do you currently have on?
-
Hi. You can read more about profiles below. Good luck. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/what-ar...-work-1297.html

Those will be the definition/databases that any user updates at a constant interval. In my opinion, no security software is perfect since every malware changes form quickly. What we can do is to make sure that your definitions are up to date.

Hi. This is actually a known issue and refer to the article below. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/bitdefe...tware-1209.html
-
Can you check below and look for the part that says about adding a zone? http://www.bitdefender.com/support/i-canno...-2015-1300.html

Thanks. Prayers have been answered. Kudos to support for hearing out users requests here.
-
Quick question please. Since the uTorrent folder is already excluded in the scan. Does this incude both Antivirus and Vulenrability scan? I'm asking because these are two different scans.
-
This looks like an isolated issue and may need an analysis for fixing this. How about generating a log then sending it to support. I think that's the best option for you.
-
Hi. It's not svvserv.exe but vvserv.exe. It should be under task manager then process. This process will be running when you have real time protection on. If not, you can't see it there.
-
Hi. There's actually a guide about this issue. Try to check below and hopefully one of the steps will fix this. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/bitdefe...onding-871.html

SOme Windows DLL files are owned by System account instead of Administrator account. That is their default way of handling files for security purposes. Just right click on that folder, properties and edit the file permissions.
-
Hi. If you're positively sure that you already set ICMP to allow in BD, there's also another area where you could check. Try disabling Windows Firewall. From my experience, they block ICMP packets by default.
-
Hi. This is just a hunch but how about if you disable "'Scan HTTP traffic"? Can you try that and see if it makes a difference? You may need to reopen your browser first.
-
I think there maybe be malware detected on that site the reason why it was blocked. But I think that turning virus shield off will get you at he work around but beware. You will be unprotected here. You can also send false positive reports on this sub forum. Let's just hope that there will be an update about a pop up…

Malwarebytes always play nice with other security software and BD is no exception.

In theory, PC or Laptop Sleep is a local scenario. This means that it does not need TCPIP to operate. I stand corrected but my answer for this is no.
-
Was there a power outage recently? That could be a possible cause, that the router changed back to default password. How about trying to input it? I mean the default password. Another thing that you can try is use another browser.

Disable until reboot would be the equivalent of disabling it I think. The reason for this option I think is just for testing purposes. Ultimately, we need to have optimal up time. Just a "Disable" feature would lead users forget enabling it, thus even if your computer is being rebooted, protection will still be disabled,…

I am 100% sure that Active Virus control is still a feature of BIS 2015. I just tried to look for it but I couldn't find it. Maybe it's relocated.
-
Maybe those are really legit or safe application. What applications have you tried to run so far?
-
Nothing else that can be done here I guess. If it's an option for you, how about disabling Cloud services for the meantime if you're not using it?
-
Here you go for an offline installer. http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=54672 For offline updates, I believe that there's non yet. But here's the link. http://www.bitdefender.com/site/view/Deskt...ts-Updates.html

For flash player, looks like you selected Windows Server 2012. I believe you're using Windows 8 or 8.1?
-
Here you go. Definition of stealth mode. Malicious individuals or software programs need not find out that your computer even exists, let alone provide services to the network. The Stealth Mode option will stop your machine from responding to attempts to find out which ports are open, or where exactly it is.

1. All custom settings I have made in Bit defender revert back to default settings each time computer is restarted. Some people were able to fix this issue by doing a simple update. Some of them uninstalled and reinstall, then do a full update. I think this is also worth the try.
-
Do not install Norton. Nothing against them but I have heard so many bad experiences with them like product incompatibility. Why not create a ticket with BD so your issue about below can be investigated. The latest update from Bit Defender that required a reboot prevented my PC from booting into Windows 8.
-
There's a work around for that. Try just hitting the "Windows Key". It will get you out of the game.
-
On Chrome, just disable Bitdefender plugin if that works as an option for you. Type "chrome://plugins/", then disable it.
