Just add ZoneAlarm in BD exceptions and I think you should be all set after that. Check below. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-to-...tions-1163.html

I could only assume that this could be internet related issue. Can you make sure that you're connected to the internet? And also make sure that you have uninstalled any other security software other than BitDefender? You mentioned that you cannot access my.bitdefender.com. How about other sites like google? I'd suggest to…

Hi. Try to set the firewall settings like below and see if it helps. http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35496
-
Can you post the link where you accessed chat support/? I just tested this myself earlier and the chat works.
-
I think both your issues are related. Can you post your firewall rules here? I think you have a "Deny All" set.
-
Hi. Looking at you post, looks like you haven't tried to disable your firewall first. I'd recommend that just to isolate the issue if it's really the firewall causing this. If it's the firewall, you can set the network adapter of the VMware Player was bridging to Trusted and Stealth mode off.
-
Found this at a guide somewhere. Make sure that your wireless adapter is on a trusted zone. To add a trusted zone: Open the Bitdefender window. Click the Settings button on the upper toolbar.. In the Settings Overview window, select Firewall. In the Firewall Settings window, select the Settings tab. Under Firewall Rules,…

-proccess self-protection Additionally, what do you mean by process self protection?
-
I'd agree with Francesca. I think it wouldn't matter what app it will be because if it's infected, it's highly possible that it's spread out already even if you will uninstall that app.
-
append infection to exclusions on the fly? Do you mean like a pop up on what you want to do if a threat is encountered? I think that's already possible.
-
Recently I accidentally clicked "block and continue to block" and now the ****** doesn't work. The settings are just stored on your browser. Just close your browser and open it again. It should be working for you after that.
-
Not sure about this. But are you saying that you're number of definition decreased? If yes, then something might be wrong on that.
-
It's probably Parental Control. Can you try to disable that module first and see if it makes a difference?
-
Hi. Looks like packets sent and received are just blank. What version is this? Can you also make sure that it's up to date?
-
+1 on this. I can't quite really recall but this was working well on MS Office 2010 I think.
-
Did you try these pages? https://shop.bitdefender.com/store?Action=D...hemeID=26849800 http://www.bitdefender.com/support/contact-us.html

Try to exclude bot the file and it's equivalent process. that should do it for you.
-
In addition, I think if you use Chrome for an IE based website like BD, CRM, etc., it will still rely on configuration on IE. So, I would would say that you're using Chrome but it is based on IE settings.
-
This is the first time that I heard about this issue. Does this happen after when your computer is idle? If not, you might want to generate a log and send it to support to have this investigated.
-
Ultimately, you just need to have game mode on and BD I think does have a default setting in firewall to still protect you against threats.
-
Correct. See also below for users with the same issue. http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=54636

Found this. I hope it helps you out. Under Settings, configure the account settings according to your preferences. Timezone. Choose from the menu the timezone of the account. The console will display time information according to the selected timezone.
-
I don't think it's possible. Even if it was, I think it will be changed back to original once the auto updates are complete.
-
I think the development team is still trying to come up with a fix for this. I'd wait for updates for now.
-
Does this happen if you turn of real time scan? If yes, you might want to add VLC on the exception list of programs.
-
Or another option for you. How about if you set Bitdefender so that it will ask you first before deleting or quarantine a file? This way, you can be sure that there will be no automatic changes.
-
Looks like your settings get lost after a reboot. Does this only affect scan ssl option or others as well. I'd recommend running a manual update first just to check it that will just do the trick. And what version do you currently have?
-
I think you need to set it up first on what to do when it detects a false positive. Check below. http://forum.bitdefender.com/lofiversion/i...php/t44465.html
-
I don't think it does. Just that you mentioned that it's not a standard port. Using SSL already gives you an extra layer of protection, so I would say that "in a way", your still protected for man in the middle attacks.
-
How about if you disable real time scanning, does it make a difference? If it does, you might want to add an exception to the install folder.
