Try this. Make sure that you have the option: Show all files and folders even the ones that are critical to the Win 2000 OS. If you are running 9x, remove it. Delete the Softwin folder in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files\Common Files. Ditto C:\Windows\Application Data and C:\All Users\Application Data. I bought BD 10 because it's great for my older PCs. With 400 MHz and 600 MHz processors, would it be wise to attempt an upgrade to 2008/9? Back up your registries, and in XP there can be several. Create a restore point. Fire up regedit and search the string "unisntall" (NO QUOTES!). Find th BD keys(s) and wipe those out. Next, find the BD msi file on your PC which installed BD; e.g., it could be names 12667bd.msi. Back to regedit and wipe the BD msi keys.…
