It looks like the problem is gone. Today Thunderbird acts normal and do not ask for security exception regardless of whether the SSL scan is enabled or not. Strange.

On 29.03.2018 at 1:55 PM, 85683213 said: QUIC protocol? Exactly. It was QUIC. Disabling QUIC in Opera / Chrome (and probably in all new Chromium based browsers) solves the problem. However, this is just a workaround for now.

With the latest build (20.0.25.1377) we have a little more complex behavior: "Password Manager" even disabled still works (Bitdefender Wallet Agent service in Task Manager). The service disappears after restart (or next computer startup) but when I start Bitdefender interface, Bitdefender Wallet Agent is loaded into memory…

OK, "functions as designed", I understand. But... for heaven's sake, why? What for, what is the reason? I don't doubt that maybe there is some important reason, but what is it?

It's a mistery. I have two computers (Windows 10 x64) with freshly installed BD 2016. The issue applies only to one computer. Probably the installation process runs incorrectly. But why?

I performed the procedure described in the mail. Now everything seems to be fine. I have 3 PC, 700 days subscription. Today is too late, but tomorrow I will try to install IS 2016. The confusion associated with the installation does not change my opinion on the Bitdefender IS - I still consider it the best security package…

What I get for now from Bitdefender's support: my licence key has not yet been migrated to 2016 version (?) And what now? When will I be able to install the 2016 version? I should wait for a message or something? I have the impression that Bitdefender company has no control over the new licensing system...

Hurrah! Opera is working normally at last! (Opera 26.x, Bitdefender 18.20.0.1429, Windows 7, 8 x64).

Same problem here. With Bit Defender Internet Security and Bit Defender Total Security (both 2015) and Opera 26. About a month ago I had none of these problems. Maybe we have to wait for the new build... But I'm losing hope.

This problem is also known on Opera forum. It seems that nobody is going to take care of it. Opera and Bitdefender are great programs separately, but together they act badly.
-
AVC still impairs Opera. Too bad.

did you shred something by mistake? Fortunately, I did not. But my client did. This is not a serious problem of course, but the permanent deletion is always potentially dangerous...
-
As a work around, how about if you add Opera on the exception at Active Virus control? That should do it It might be the solution as a temporary workaround, but not as a permanent solution...
-
Have you looked at this? Opera Performance Enhancements This applies to old versions of Opera with Presto engine. Now Opera is based on the other engine. And the problem is with Active Virus Control. Opera is lightning fast with "AVC" disabled.

Still no progress with Opera browser and Active Virus Control Waiting for the official changelog...

Maybe someone from BD read this topic and it was sorted in an update? I thought so too for a few days. Unfortunately the problem has returned. Photoshop initiates "game mode" again.

This problem is still happening, I have removed Comodo firewall & I'm now using Private firewall. When I open Opera v25 it takes longer for the interface to load & now the speed dial page loads but takes about 5-10 seconds, same with the settings page. If I disable AVC in Bitdefender Opera opens very quick & displays the…

Sinister forces stopped working. Bitdefender 2015 behaves normally today. Photoshop does not start Game Profile and I can add it to Work Profile. Still the same Bitdefender build.
