  • if your on the 2015 version (not sure how different it is from the 2016 version) they can be found if you navigate to "general settings" click the "update" tab and youll find the information there, its as simple as changing the url to one of the other update servers (posted above just change xx to tt obviously) just change…

  • lve started getting this issue since upgrading to Total Internet Security, checked the logs and there is no reboot required in the update logs, l generally get at least one warning per boot normally 4/5hours after turning my laptop on.. it started three days ago (l upgraded last week due to a early renewal offer). and l…
  • no sooner do l make this post l found a way to resolve the issue.. (located here) turns out the update address was the issue, the default one was hxxp://upgr-mmxiii.cdn.bitdefender.net and just for amsement l tried changing it to hxxp://upgrade.bitdefender.com, my BD is now reporting its definitions are up to date.
  • There are two update server, both of them work. _http://upgrade.bitdefender.com _http://upgr-mmxiii.cdn.bitdefender.net sorry for reviving an old thread, but wanted to thank Rampant as this post helped me with my 2015 version.. was having problems updating.
  • l contacted support and allegedly the autopilot settings can be disabled (something that supposedly be done by editing profiles). lm tempted to take a look because lm hoping the current issue l have with 2011 is fixed. specifically the occasional times where the icon in the task bar suddenly informs me that the protection…
  • thats the problem, repairing the install doesnt seem to help either.. l could start up into safe mode fine, but when it came to starting into windows 7 normally it would just stick at the logo screen.
  • l cant say its stable.. l dont personally use it on my system but having installed it on friends systems and laptops its not been as stable as the 2011 version has been up till l had this issue. which l note has spread to my laptop, or at least its occurred once so far on the laptop and it only seems to happen when l…
  • no l dont wish to try the 2013 version, last time l tried upgrades it caused similar problems, so far the 2011 version has been much better.. the newer versions seem to take away all my control of the settings.
  • have followed the steps as requested and PM'ed you the required information.
  • sending to PM (l didnt asked this on the support system) should be in your inbox now.
  • lm having a similar issue first happened when l was messing around with some apk files for my android phone. seemed to pick them up as viruses.. l know they are not. regardless l randomly find vasserv.exe eating 50% of my CPU. now l read something about other softwares, the only thing l do have is CCleaner. but its been…
  • found out the issue, tho l wish it was mentioned in the FAQ somewhere.. turns out it was the firewall.. which l already knew, only by disabling it at my mates on the laptop could l get it working however, further information found elsewhere on the net lead me to find out it was the Network configuration on DB and turning…
  • lve just taken a look where you stated.. every manual update lve done over the past couple of weeks it seems has resulted in this issue.. each time the following files show up ph_black.dat fr_list.dat they seem to come down with normal updates and not program ones, and its always the same two, and it doesnt seem to happen…
  • apart from the top three options in the bottom section of tick boxes my settings completely mirror yours.. the only major differences are the top three of that section, l have wait for reboot ticked and none of the p2p and sharing parts ticked. tho it still doesnt explain why basic virus signatures are requiring a reboot…
  • l do in fact already have a licence, which still had plenty of time left on it, as l purchased it at the beginning of the year..

  • lm getting no error message (tho l see the red and white exclamation mark) it pretty much just states no updates but l cant seem to get rid of the notification that my software is out od date even tho it doesnt seem to be finding anything.
  • for the time being l have uninstalled diskeeper, which allows me to defragment my system again.. if support can please fix errors with diskeeper 2010 as l prefered using it as it seemed to do a better job than the windows intergrated defragmentation tool.
  • done, doesnt seem to be any change l still get an error.. though l did notice other logs as l was testing to see if the auto defrag worked the errors that resulted from that were: Event Type: Information Event Source: Diskeeper Event Category: None Event ID: 24 Date: 04/12/2009 Time: 01:23:54 User: N/A Computer: STONER…
  • sorry for the double post, but l forgot to add l can analyise volumes just not defrag them.. as l said l believe the issue is replated.
  • happen to be experiencing this issue myself, tho l believe it might have caused an issue with diskeeper 2010 as well for some reason l cant defrag.. its weird l could a few days back but it does coninside with when my net started messing around giving me blank pages.
