Impossible de me débarrasser de la barre d'outils Bitdefender pour Thunderbird (102.14.0))

Bonjour

Depuis peu (depuis une mise à jour de Bitdefender ? de Thunderbird ?), la barre d'outils Bitdefender pour Thunderbird apparaît.

Elle est ineffective et inoffensive a priori.

On ne peut désinstaller le module (extension Bitdefender Toolbar) mais on peut le désactiver, ce qui fonctionne dans un premier temps mais quand on redémarre Thunderbird la barre réapparaît et on peut constater que le module est à nouveau à l'état actif.

Pouvez-vous m'aider, svp merci

    Here are the steps on how to get rid of the Bitdefender toolbar in Thunderbird:

    (A) Disable the Bitdefender toolbar in Thunderbird.

    1) Open Thunderbird.

    2) Click on the View menu.

    3) Select Toolbars.

    4) Uncheck the box next to Bitdefender Antispam toolbar.


    (B) Uninstall the Bitdefender Antispam toolbar extension.

    1) Open the Windows Control Panel.

    2) Click on Programs and Features.

    3) Find the Bitdefender Antispam toolbar extension.

    4) Click on Uninstall.


    (C) Restart Thunderbird.


    If the Bitdefender toolbar still reappears after you have followed these steps, you can try the following:

    Reinstall Thunderbird. This will remove all of the add-ons and extensions that are currently installed, including the Bitdefender toolbar.


    If issue persists, kindly contact the bitdefender support by visiting https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/ and scroll down to the bottom of the webpage where you can get in touch with support representative either by email, chat or over a call.

    Alternatively, you can also share your query with bitdefender support team by dropping them an email at bitsy@bitdefender.com

    The support team will reply back to your query within next 24-48 hours excluding weekends.

    Thks for the answer but :

    The (A) works, of course, but the extension is still present

    The (B) doesn't work because Thunderbird extensions (and Bitdefender Toobar in particular) are not considered as Windows programs and are not present in the Program and features list (applications et fonctionnalités in French)

    The (C) : reinstalling TB. I would suppose to delete the profile because the extensions are contained in it and would reappear after the reinstallation : the profile contains all the data, included the messages.

    Even if the profile is deleted, this extension would reappear beause its presence is due to Bitdefender itself.
