How Do I stop "Endpoint Security Console" (EPConsole.exe) From Run On A Remote Desktop Environment?
As the title says.
I have a lot of users logging into a terminal server, every user that logs in has an "Endpoint Security Console" process running which is taking up a large amount of the memory. Is there anyway to stop this process from running when a user logs in? If possible I would like this to still run for admin users.

Hello @MaattyyC,
In order to disable the Endpoint Security Console (EPConsole.exe) you will have to enable Silent Mode and reapply the policy but this will happen for all users regardless of their role (admin or not).
You can find this option at the policy level → General → Notifications:
If you require further assistance please let me know.

Hi Andrei,
Thank you for responding, I think this could work. Are you aware if enabling silent mode will stop anything from working at all? Or will this just remove the console interface and Bit Defender will continue to run as normal in the background?

Hello @MaattyyC ,
Everything will work as before, the agent will run in the background only pop-up notifications are disabled and the agent console.
There is no impact to your protection level if you are running on silent mode.
Kind Regards,
Andrei
